Presenter Ishrat Payel gets married

Television presenter and model Ishrat Payel has married businessman Al-Amin Chowdhury, beginning a new chapter in her personal life.
Payel shared the news on Facebook on Saturday, posting several photographs from the wedding. She said the marriage took place with the consent of their families.
In the photographs, Payel was seen wearing a red sari with her husband and family members.
“Alhamdulillah, I have married Al-Amin Chowdhury with the consent of our families,” Payel wrote in her post, asking everyone to pray for them so that they could remain together for life.
Responding to comments about how long ago the marriage took place, Payel said it had actually happened several days earlier. She also asked for prayers for their lifelong happiness.
Al-Amin is a businessman involved in several businesses in the United Kingdom.
Payel has been a familiar face on television programmes and major events in Bangladesh for years. She gained wider recognition after her success at the international beauty pageant Miss Heritage International in 2015. The same year, she presented several programmes during the Cricket World Cup in Australia.
She later continued to work as a presenter on various television channels in Bangladesh.
