Five senior police officers transferred

Five police officers holding the ranks of additional and assistant superintendent of police have been transferred.

The transfers were made through a notification signed by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Md Ali Hossain Fakir on Saturday (September 12).

The transferred officers are Additional Superintendent of Police Ishtiaq Hasan Amin of Cumilla, who has been posted to the Special Branch (SB) in Dhaka; Additional Superintendent of Police Md Labib Abdullah of Pabna’s Bera Circle, who has been transferred to Tourist Police; and Additional Superintendent of Police Piyas Basak of Brahmanbaria’s Nabinagar Circle, who has been posted to Industrial Police.
