Playback queen Konokchapa turns 57

Popular playback singer of Bangladesh, Rumana Morshed Konokchapa is celebrating her 57th birthday today on Friday (September 11).

Born in Shantibagh of Dhaka city on September 11, 1969, Konokchapa has been in the music industry for more than 34 years and has performed over 3,000 film songs and issued 35 albums.

Konokchapa celebrated her birthday with her family members, and thanked all her fans for loving and praying for her. The singer said, “I am loved much more than I deserve. I am very grateful and amazed by this love.”

The three-time winner of the National Film Award, some of Konokchapa’s popular songs are Je Prem Swargo Theke Eshe, Tumi Amar Emoni Ekjon, Onek Sadhonar Pore Ami and Bhalo Achhi Bhalo Theko.
