571 GPA-5 scorers felicitated in Chandpur

CHANDPUR, Sept 12: A total of 571 students who earned GPA-5 scores in the SSC examinations from Chandpur Sadar and Haimchar upazilas were honoured at a reception organised by the District Education Office at Munira Bhaban on Saturday.

Chandpur-3 Constituency MP Sheikh Farid Ahmed Manik attended the programme as the chief guest. Deputy Commissioner Ahmed Ziaur Rahman, Superintendent of Police Mizanur Rahman, Zilla Parishad Administrator Advocate AKM Selim Ullah Selim and Cumilla Education Board Chairman Ahsan Parvez were among the special guests.

Teachers, parents, students, local dignitaries, politicians, journalists and civil society representatives attended the event.
