
Dutch-Bangla Bank has signed a participatory agreement with Bangladesh Bank to access refinancing facilities under “Export Diversification Refinance Scheme” aiming to diversify market and product concentration for strengthening the export sector of the Country.
A K M Nurunnabi, Director, Sustainable Finance Department of Bangladesh Bank and Md Ahteshamul Haque Khan, Managing Director and CEO of Dutch-Bangla Bank signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. Other senior officials of both the organizations were present at the signing ceremony, says a press release.
The objective of this agreement is to further strengthen the country’s export sector by diversifying export products and creating new markets.
Under the agreement, Dutch-Bangla Bank will be able to provide refinancing facilities to its export-oriented clients at comparatively lower interest rates.
