Ziaur Rahman Foundation Vice President Dr Zubaida Rahman has emphasized the critical need to ensure affordable and quality healthcare services for every citizen across the country.

Speaking as a chief guest at a seminar titled "Healthcare for All" held at the Novo Theatre in Dhaka on Sunday (September 13), Dr Zubaida stated that accessing medical care is a fundamental right of every citizen rather than a mere privilege.

Expressing deep concern over the ongoing dengue situation, she called for heightened personal awareness and collective vigilance to combat the mosquito-borne disease.

Dr Zubaida also highlighted the necessity of maximizing the potential of the nation's skilled physicians alongside existing modern medical technologies to advance the healthcare sector.

Furthermore, she stressed that establishing accountability across all sectors is essential to achieving sustainable national development and building the desired prosperous Bangladesh.
