Bus service launched at HAU

HABIGANJ, Sept 15: To make transportation easier and safer for students, Habiganj Agricultural University (HAU) has introduced bus services for the first time. Two single-decker buses from Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) have been added to the university’s transportation system.

HAU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Mozammel Haque formally inaugurated the service on the campus on Tuesday.

The introduction of the two buses is expected to improve regular transportation facilities for students and reduce their difficulties in commuting to and from the university.

University authorities said that the routes and schedules of the buses will be fixed according to the needs of the students and the university’s academic activities. The new service is expected to ensure a more convenient, safe and organised transportation system for the students.
