Bangladesh’s national football team arrived in Jakarta on Sunday ahead of their maiden appearance in the FIFA ASEAN Cup.
The team, led by captain Jamal Bhuiyan, left Dhaka on Saturday night and reached the Indonesian capital on Sunday morning.
The players completed immigration and other formalities before checking into their hotel around 11am.
Head coach Thomas Dooley travelled with 22 players from the 23-member squad, with Sohel Rana Jr unable to join the team because of visa complications.
The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) is working to send him to Jakarta on Sunday or Monday once the issue is resolved.
