Aishwarya Rai to walk Paris Fashion Week runway

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is set to return to the runway at Paris Fashion Week for L'Oreal Paris's 'Le Defile' event.

The ninth edition of the 'Le Defile' event, organized by French cosmetics brand L'Oreal Paris, will take place on September 28 at Place Joffre near the Eiffel Tower.

This year's theme, "Walk Your Worth," focuses on women's empowerment, confidence, diversity, solidarity, and inclusion.

Aishwarya, who has served as a global brand ambassador for L'Oreal Paris for years, will return to the ramp as a representation of strength and self-confidence.

Launched in 2017, the event will feature international celebrities alongside Aishwarya, including Simone Ashley, Viola Davis, Cara Delevingne, Jane Fonda, Kendall Jenner, and Eva Longoria.

To coincide with the show, L'Oreal Paris is introducing five new liquid lipstick shades under its 'Runway Matte Collection', formulated specifically for Indian skin tones.

Aishwarya will wear the highlight shade of the collection, '423 Audacious Red', during her runway appearance.

To bring the Paris experience to consumers, L'Oreal Paris has partnered with Amazon online and Lifestyle Stores offline, with plans to host a beauty workshop in Mumbai in October.
