Dr Yusuf Elahi new CVASU VC

CHATTOGRAM, Sept 22: Prof Dr Mohammad Yusuf Elahi Chowdhury, a faculty member in the Department of Medicine and Surgery at Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) has been appointed as the university’s new Vice-Chancellor (VC).

Following the President’s approval, the Ministry of Education issued a notification appointing Prof Dr. Mohammad Yusuf Elahi Chowdhury to the position on Monday.

A university press release stated that his tenure as Vice-Chancellor will last for four years from the date of joining or until his retirement, whichever occurs earlier.
