Insaf Barakah to provide healthcare to Observer family

Insaf Barakah Kidney and General Hospital will provide healthcare services to members of The Daily Observer family under an initiative of the newspaper.

As part of the initiative, an agreement-signing ceremony, a medical camp and the distribution of corporate discount cards will be held at Observer office on Monday (Sept 28).

The agreement between the two sides will be signed in the afternoon that day. The medical camp will be held at the Observer office from 4pm to 7pm.

At the camp, family members of The Daily Observer’s employees and journalists will be able to receive free medical consultations and undergo blood pressure and serum creatinine tests to assess kidney function.
They will also have the opportunity to get a corporate discount card for Tk 50.

Test reports from the medical camp can be collected from the Observer office at 12pm on Wednesday (Sept 30).

After collecting the reports, participants will be able to receive free medical consultations at the emergency department of Insaf Barakah Kidney and General Hospital from 4pm to 5pm for the following three days.

Hospital officials said the hospital’s corporate healthcare and public awareness programmes would continue in the future to help ensure quality and affordable healthcare for all.
