80 arrested in DMP Tejgaon division crackdown

Police have arrested 80 people during a special anti-crime drive in six police station areas under the Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s (DMP) Tejgaon Division.

The arrests were made on Tuesday (September 22) in crime-prone areas under Tejgaon, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Mohammadpur, Adabor, Tejgaon Industrial Area and Hatirjheel police stations, according to DMP.

Of the arrested, 21 were from Tejgaon, 10 from Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, 23 from Mohammadpur, 12 from Adabor, and seven each from Tejgaon Industrial Area and Hatirjheel police stations.

Police said the arrested individuals were sent to the court for further legal proceedings.
