Top 7 police officials transferred

Seven Police officers, holding the ranks of additional superintendent of police and assistant police commissioner, have been transferred in a reshuffle.

A notification was issued on Wednesday in this regard. the report of the court 

Md Abdullah Al Masum, additional superintendent of police in Manikganj, has been transferred to Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP); Md Zakirul Hasan, additional superintendent of police at Special Branch (SB), Dhaka, to Barishal; Imran Ashab, additional superintendent of police at Police Headquarters, to Special Branch; Mohammad Foyez Uddin, additional superintendent of police at Police Headquarters, to Anti-Terrorism Unit (ATU); Md Mominul Haque, additional superintendent of police at Special Branch, to Kotchandpur Circle in Jhenaidah; Md Ashraful Alam, additional superintendent of police at Ulipur Circle in Kurigram to Special Branch; Sushanta Majumdar, assistant police commissioner at Barishal Metropolitan Police, to Rajshahi Metropolitan Police.

According to the notification, the transferred officers must hand over charge at their current workplaces and join their new postings by October 3.

Those who fail to do so will be considered immediately released from their current posts effective October 4, the notification added.
