Education minister assures appointment letters for primary teacher candidates

Education and Primary and Mass Education Minister Dr ANM Ehsanul Haque Milan has assured successful candidates in the government primary school assistant teacher recruitment process that those who do not receive appointment letters by October 1 will be considered later and letters will be issued in phases.

The minister made the statement in a post on his official Facebook page on Saturday (September 26).

He said confusion was being spread through various media outlets and social media platforms over the distribution of appointment letters for the 2025 government primary school assistant teacher recruitment.

He said candidates who do not receive their appointment letters by October 1, 2026, will be properly scrutinised and the letters will be sent in phases as soon as possible.

The minister also said verification and vetting are routine procedures in the recruitment of government officials and employees.
