Koushani recalls short-lived Puja romances

Tollywood actress Koushani Mukherjee has opened up about her childhood Durga Puja memories, recalling the excitement of pandal-hopping, beauty contests and short-lived romances.

Speaking about her Puja days before entering the film industry, Koushani said she used to visit pandals with her family and participate in Puja beauty contests. Winning the title of “Puja’s Best Beauty” was a memorable experience for her.

She also fondly recalled the romances that blossomed during the festival. “I really loved those few days of romance during Puja. Those relationships would last only for the Puja days and then end,” she said.

Koushani will celebrate this year’s Puja alongside promotions for her upcoming film Bahurupi: The Golden Daku, which is scheduled for release during the festival.
