Pakistan High Commissioner Imran Haider called on Finance and Planning Adviser Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir on Sunday (October 4) and briefed him on the steady growth in bilateral relations between Pakistan and Bangladesh.
The High Commissioner apprised the adviser of the decisions taken at the 9th Session of the Joint Economic Commission (JEC) and the progress made so far.
The two sides also discussed the scope and potential for bilateral trade and investment, as well as creating linkages between the respective Boards of Revenue.
The adviser encouraged dialogue through bilateral and multilateral forums, increased connectivity between businesses and people, promotion of supply chain linkages and fostering of cultural activities.
