Rain forecast across Bangladesh, temperatures may drop

In its forecast from 6 PM Wednesday for the next 24 hours, the department said many areas of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna and Sylhet divisions and some areas of Barishal and Chattogram may experience rain with gusty winds. Some areas may see moderately heavy rain.

The southwest monsoon has withdrawn from western Bangladesh and may leave other parts of the country within 48 hours.
