Uttara Bank hosts Women’s Health and Awareness prog

Uttara Bank PLC’s Ladies’ Branch in Dhaka recently organised a women’s health and awareness programme titled “SHE MATTERS -- Women’s Health & Awareness Programme” at the Dhaka Business & Professional Women’s Club.

The programme featured discussions on women’s health and awareness, healthy lifestyles and overall fitness. An appreciation ceremony was also held to honour senior customers who have maintained longstanding relationships with the bank’s Ladies’ Branch.

Uttara Bank Managing Director Md Abul Hashem attended the event as chief guest, while Additional Managing Director Maksudul Hasan was present as special guest.

Executive General Manager Mohammad Liton Pasa Khan, General Manager Rina Sultana, Assistant General Manager Naznin Nahar Sharmin and social worker and entrepreneur Monira Emdad also attended the programme, along with valued customers of the bank.

The event focused on promoting greater awareness of women’s health and wellbeing while recognising the longstanding trust and relationships between the bank and its customers.
