Q-Cash services at around 30 banks resumed after remaining suspended for two days due to a system migration.
Q-Cash operator IT Consultants PLC (ITC) confirmed on Tuesday night that all services had returned to normal. Several banks also informed customers that ATM, card, POS, NPSB, e-commerce and QR services were fully operational.
The services were suspended from Sunday night, disrupting some interbank transactions. They were initially expected to resume on October 10, but Bangladesh Bank took steps to restore them earlier, citing customer inconvenience.
Following the central bank’s intervention, all Q-Cash services were restored on Tuesday night.
