
CHATTOGRAM, OCT 08: The “CUCSU Cyber Cafe and Digital Learning Hub”, established under the initiative of the Chittagong University Central Students’ Union (CUCSU), was inaugurated on Thursday to promote technology-based education, research and digital skills among students of Chittagong University.
Chittagong University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Mohammad Al-Furkan and CUCSU Vice-President (VP) Ibrahim Hossain Roni jointly inaugurated the hub.
The VC said the initiative was taken to connect students with modern technology, expand research opportunities and enhance their digital skills.
Ten high-configuration computers have been installed at the hub to support research, online learning, software-based tasks and other technical activities.
Various courses, training sessions and workshops will also be organised at the hub to develop students’ personal and professional skills.
These activities will help students improve their communication, leadership and presentation skills, career readiness and other essential soft skills.
CUCSU Treasurer Professor Dr Muhammad Alamgir, General Secretary (GS) Sayed Bin Habib and other CUCSU representatives were present at the inauguration.
