Actress Mrunal Thakur has come out in support of Katrina Kaif and Kriti Sanon, who have recently faced online criticism.

Katrina has been trolled over changes in her appearance after becoming a mother, while Kriti has faced criticism for appearing in an advertisement.

Speaking to PTI, Mrunal questioned why people were ignoring the actresses’ contributions to the film industry and business.

“These two amazing women have done so much. Have people forgotten their contributions to the film industry and business?” she said.

Mrunal added that both actresses run businesses in India and other parts of the world, including the UK. She also said that people should avoid making negative comments about others.

She noted that men are also increasingly facing judgment and criticism from society and social media.

Mrunal is currently promoting her film *Pooja Meri Jaan*, which was released on ZEE5 on October 2. Directed by Navjot Gulati, the film also stars Huma Qureshi, Vikram Singh Chauhan and Vijay Raaz.
