32 DU’s students nominated for PM’s gold medal 

Dhaka University (DU) has the most nominees for the Prime Minister’s (PM) gold medal with 32 of its students shortlisted for outstanding results in 2019, 2020 and 2021 academic years.

University Grants Commission (UGC) recently published the final list of 469 nominees from universities across the country. DU’s 32 are the largest share from any single institution, according to DU Public Relations.

These 32 nominees include 11 from 2019 academic year, 10 from 2020 and 11 from 2021. They span subjects from law, pharmacy and medical sciences to engineering, dance and art history.
