Five popular bands to perform at Dhaka concert on Oct 23

Five popular Bangladeshi bands — Nagar Baul, Ark, Warfaze, Aurthohin and Shunno — will perform together at a concert at Carnival Arena in Jamuna Future Park, Dhaka, on October 23.

Titled “Rock and Rhythm 5.0: No Limits in the Zone”, the concert will also feature solo performances by guitarists Oni Hasan and AK Rahul.

Ticket sales began on Monday, with each ticket priced at Tk 999. Tickets are available through the Tikkify website.

Organisers have said each ticket allows only one entry to the venue. Once a ticket holder enters and leaves, the ticket will no longer be valid for re-entry. Attendees will also be prohibited from carrying large bags beyond handbags. Further conditions are listed on the ticketing website.

Event organiser Adventor Communications said all necessary permissions had been secured for the concert. The event is expected to take place as scheduled unless unforeseen circumstances arise.

The company has been organising the ‘Rock and Rhythm’ concert series since 2022. This will be the fifth edition of the event, which has gained popularity among rock and metal music fans.
