2 held over alleged trafficking of Bangladeshis to Ukraine War

Two members of an alleged human trafficking ring have been arrested for reportedly luring Bangladeshis to Russia with promises of jobs and sending them to fight in the Ukraine war, SRB-4 said on Tuesday (October 13).

SRB-4 media officer Nurangir Nahid confirmed the arrests on Tuesday night, but the identities of the suspects have not been disclosed.

The agency has scheduled a press conference at its media centre in Karwan Bazar, Dhaka, on Wednesday (October 14) to provide details of the case.
