Taskin strikes in first over

Bangladesh pacer Taskin Ahmed gave his side a flying start, dismissing Zimbabwe’s Brian Bennett for a wicket-maiden in the first over.

Bennett was initially given out caught behind, but a review showed the ball had missed the bat and struck his pad, resulting in an LBW dismissal.

Zimbabwe were 7-1 after three overs.

Regular captain Liton Das and Mehidy Hasan Miraz missed the match due to injuries. Towhid Hridoy is leading Bangladesh, while Nurul Hasan Sohan has been included as wicketkeeper.
