Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has left for Chattogram after visiting Rangpur and Rajshahi as part of his tour of three cities on the occasion of Sharadiya Durga Puja.

He departed from Shah Makhdum Airport in Rajshahi for Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram at around 6:20 PM on Tuesday.

Upon arrival in the port city, the prime minister is scheduled to visit Durga Puja mandaps at JM Sen Hall and Rahmatganj.

After a brief stop at Chattogram Circuit House, he is expected to leave Shah Amanat International Airport for Dhaka.

Earlier in the morning, Tarique Rahman visited the Durga Puja mandap at Radha Gobinda Dharmasabha Temple in Rangpur. He later travelled from Saidpur Airport to Rajshahi aboard a military aircraft.
