Popular Bangladeshi film actress Pori Moni marked her birthday by unveiling the first-look poster of her upcoming film 'Farjana', a survival drama directed by Tarek Rahman.

The narrative of Farjana revolves around the widow of a crime reporter who dies under mysterious circumstances while performing his professional duties. Following his death, the protagonist faces a severe struggle for survival alongside her only child.

The screenplay depicts the challenges faced by a woman navigating societal hardships to protect her family and sustain her livelihood.

Marking his debut in feature-length directorial films following several acclaimed television dramas, director Tarek Rahman leads the project.

Speaking to the media, Pori Moni revealed that planning for the film began well in advance, with her look for the character finalized nearly six months ago. She noted that while initial filming schedules faced delays due to various logistical complications, shooting for the movie is currently near completion, with final preparations for release underway.
