Dear Sir,
With the aim of ensuring national development, the government announces a budget every fiscal year and allocates funds to various sectors and development projects. These funds support poverty alleviation programmes, road renovation and maintenance, institutional grants, farmers’ allowances, social development initiatives and other projects.
However, concerns often arise over the proper utilisation of public funds, the quality of work and transparency in project implementation. Weak supervision, inadequate auditing and a lack of accountability are among the main reasons behind these concerns.
If proper investigations and accountability can be ensured at every level, the benefits of government allocations will reach the general public more effectively. Therefore, impartial audits and transparent monitoring of development expenditure are essential to ensuring sustainable national development.
I respectfully urge the authorities to ensure the proper utilisation of public funds, conduct impartial investigations into expenditure on development projects and establish accountability at every level.
