Iran, Mecca pact states agree to continue peace talks

Iran and the Mecca pact states of Türkiye, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have agreed to continue discussions aimed at strengthening regional peace and security.

The agreement came in a joint statement issued after a four-way meeting hosted by Iran, where the countries discussed mutual cooperation and regional stability.

The statement said the four countries had agreed to “continue discussions aimed at strengthening mutual cooperation in the areas of regional peace and security.”
