Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party has accused Arab parties of widespread electoral fraud in the October 27 Knesset elections, demanding an investigation into alleged bribery, intimidation, violence and ballot manipulation.
The party said it would submit hundreds of testimonies and pieces of evidence to the Israel Police, Shin Bet and the Central Elections Committee, alleging irregularities at polling stations in Arab communities.
Meanwhile, neither political bloc has secured a clear path to the 61 seats needed for a parliamentary majority, leaving the formation of Israel’s next government uncertain.
Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem described the election results as a failure for Israel, while opposition figures discussed the possibility of forming a government with Arab parties.
