Hina Khan married Rocky Jaiswal within 15 minutes of cancer diagnosis

Indian actress Hina Khan has revealed that she married her longtime partner Rocky Jaiswal in less than 15 minutes after deciding to formalise their relationship following her cancer diagnosis.
Hina shared the story during an appearance on tennis star Sania Mirza’s new show, recalling how her diagnosis changed her perspective on life and marriage.
Despite being in a relationship for 13–14 years, the couple had never seriously planned to marry. However, after learning that she had cancer, Hina said the uncertainty of life during her illness prompted her to reconsider their future.
The actress married Rocky on June 4, 2025, in an intimate ceremony on the terrace of their home in Mumbai. At the time, she was undergoing treatment for stage three breast cancer.
During the show, a photograph from their wedding day brought back memories for Hina, who said the decision had been spontaneous. The couple had made no prior wedding plans despite being together for more than a decade.
Explaining her decision, Hina said that during a physically difficult period, she gave Rocky two options: he could leave her and start a new life with someone of his choice, or marry her. She said she could not be certain what the next day would bring.
Rocky agreed to her proposal, and the couple proceeded with the wedding without delay.
When Sania asked whether the wedding ceremony had really been completed in just 15 minutes, Hina clarified that it had taken even less time.
The story reflects the uncertainty Hina faced during her illness and her desire to have her longtime partner by her side. Her account has moved fans, highlighting an emotional chapter in her life.
Hina and Rocky first met on the set of the television drama Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, in which she played Akshara. Rocky was a member of the production team. Their professional acquaintance developed into friendship and later a romantic relationship. They made their relationship public in 2017.
