World has become ‘desensitised’ to crises in Gaza, Lebanon: Iran

TEHRAN, Nov 2: Esmaeil Baghaei, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman, says Israel is “the root cause of insecurity in West Asia”, adding it has intensified “its atrocities” in Gaza and Lebanon.

“The international community and European nations have become desensitised” to the situation, he said.

The International Criminal Court faces “intense pressure” from the United States for pursuing Israeli officials in accordance with its own statute, Baghaei said.- AL JAZEERA
