Shooting of veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan's popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) has been suspended for the past week due to his reported health problems, according to Indian media reports.
The 83-year-old actor has reportedly not been feeling well for the past few days, prompting the show's producers to temporarily halt filming, IANS reported.
To keep viewers entertained, the channel has been re-telecasting previous episodes as part of its Diwali special week.
One of the most anticipated episodes featured Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Ravi Dubey, who appeared on the show to promote their upcoming mega-project Ramayana.
The episode was originally scheduled to air around the film's release. However, Bachchan's sudden illness forced the production team to revise its plans. The channel aired the episode featuring the Ramayana team last week as part of its Diwali special programming.
Meanwhile, Bachchan is expected to return to the shooting floor once his health improves. According to the report, filming could resume as early as next week if the actor feels better.
