The Inter-Education Board Examination Controllers Committee has warned educational institutions against collecting additional fees from candidates for filling out HSC and equivalent supplementary examination forms.
In an urgent notice issued recently, the committee said legal action would be taken directly against the heads of institutions and the institutions concerned if they violated the directive.
The notice said complaints had been received from different parts of the country that educational institutions were charging candidates more than the prescribed fees for completing the form-filling process.
In response, the committee reiterated that collecting any additional amount from candidates under the pretext of HSC supplementary examination form submission was strictly prohibited.
The committee urged principals of all HSC-level educational institutions to follow and implement the instruction with the utmost importance.
It warned that strict action would be taken against institutions found collecting extra fees.
