GOURIPUR, MYMENSINGH, Jan 2: A convening committee has been formed for the Gouripur Press Club in Mymensingh.
The committee was formed unanimously at the Annual General Meeting held at the Gouripur Press Club auditorium on Wednesday at 4 pm. The meeting was presided over by the President of Gouripur Press Club Kazi Abdullah Al Amin.
The annual report was presented at the meeting by the club's General Secretary Sheikh Biplob. Subsequently, a four-member convening committee was announced with the consent from the attending members.
Md Rois Uddin (Correspondent, Daily Jugantor) was elected as the Convener. Anwar Hossain Shahin (Correspondent, Daily Observer) was elected as the Member Secretary. The other two committee members are Md Humayun Kabir (Correspondent, Janabani) and Ali Haider Robin (Shwajan).
The newly formed committee announced it will form a full-fledged committee by the upcoming February. They also sought everyone's cooperation to enhance the overall development and expedite the activities of the organisation.
