From the airport, Amit proceeded to Jashore Circuit House under state protocol, where he was accorded a guard of honour. Later, at the Circuit House conference room, he was overwhelmed by a two-hour-long floral reception from various organisations, educational institutions, professional bodies, sports organisers, journalists, and BNP units across the district.
Speaking briefly to reporters, Amit pledged to work with honesty, dedication, and sincerity to meet the expectations of the people. He reaffirmed his commitment to implement promises made before the election and to serve the nation's interest.
