KAHAROLE, DINAJPUR, June 8: A productive asset distribution and dialogue were held among members of the Pallishree Agrojatra Project in Kaharole Upazila of Dinajpur District.
The event took place on Monday at 11 am at the Pallishree office. It was organised by the Pallishree project titled “Strengthening Economic, Social and Political Participation of Marginalised Women Living in Climate-Risky Areas of Bangladesh (Agrojatra)” and funded by BMZ and NETZ.
The chief guest, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mokleda Khatun Mim, distributed goats and local chickens among the beneficiaries.
Present at the time were Upazila Agriculture Officer Agriculturist Md Jahidur Rahman, Upazila Social Service Officer Md Anichur Rahman, Upazila Veterinary Surgeon Dr Asaduzzaman Shuvro, and Upazila Women Affairs Officer Afsana Mostari.
Also present were Pallishree Agrojatra Project Manager Kazi Masudur Rahman, Pallishree Agrojatra Project Unit Manager Md Montajul Islam, Upazila Project Implementation Officer Md Abdul Mottaleb Sarkar, and Public Health Engineer Md Abdus Salam.
