3 burnt as AC explodes in Narinda

Three people, including a woman, sustained burn injuries as an air conditioner (AC) exploded at a residence in Old Dhaka’s Narinda late Thursday night.

The victims were admitted to the National Burn Institute, a Fire Service Headquarters source said.

The fire broke out on the building’s third floor following the explosion. Firefighters rushed to the scene, but the blaze had already been brought under control.

Locals took the burn victims to the hospital.
