New AIG appointed to police media wing

Police Superintendent Kamarum Munira has been appointed as the new Additional Inspector General (AIG) of the Media and Public Relations wing of Police Headquarters.

Police Headquarters confirmed the appointment in a notice issued on Tuesday.

Munira, a 28th BCS (Police) cadre officer, has joined the post, replacing AHM Shahadat Hossain.

She previously served as AIG of the Traffic Management division at Police Headquarters.

Meanwhile, Shahadat Hossain has been transferred from the Media and Public Relations wing and appointed AIG of the ICT division at Police Headquarters.
