Drug Trade Dispute

Youth murdered by slitting of tendons in city

A young man named Mehedi Hasan Apu, 25, was killed in Dhaka's Jatrabari area, allegedly over a dispute related to drug trading. 

The attackers reportedly slit the tendon in his leg during the incident. Police recovered the body on Monday and sent it to Dhaka Medical College morgue for an autopsy. The incident occurred around 11:00 pm on Sunday at the Jatrabari Kacha Bazar wholesale market.
