Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has launched a three-day training camp for district and metropolitan secretaries and assistant secretaries at Shafipur in Gazipur.
The programme, which began on Thursday and will conclude on Saturday (July 18), focuses on organisational management, leadership development and policy guidance, according to the party.
Addressing the second-day session on Friday, Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer and Leader of the Opposition in Parliament, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, delivered guidelines on organisational affairs and leadership development. The session was conducted by Assistant Secretary General Maulana ATM Masum.
Central Executive Council member Abdur Rab, Central Working Committee members Dr. Maulana Khalilur Rahman Madani and Dr. Maulana Samiul Haque Faruqi, Gazipur Metropolitan Ameer Professor Muhammad Jamal Uddin, along with other central and local leaders, attended the session. The party said the programme will conclude with a closing ceremony on Saturday.
