As artificial intelligence continues to reshape global content creation, a Bangladesh-based initiative is gaining international traction. The AI Cinematic Masterclass led by content creator and trainer Obidur Rahman is now drawing participants from 34 countries, highlighting the country’s emerging role in AI-driven creative education.
Since 2023, Obidur Rahman, widely known as RobinRafan, has been actively developing AI-powered cinematic content and visual effects while conducting training programs in the field.
Over the past three years, more than 15,000 participants have taken part in his online and offline courses, reflecting growing interest in AI-based creative skills.
The AI Cinematic Masterclass is currently delivered through Subscriptionsmart BD, featuring a structured and process-driven curriculum.
The program focuses on practical skills such as AI-assisted content planning, cinematic video production, scripting, camera movement, editing, and audience engagement strategies.
Using the same curriculum and methodology, RobinRafan has also collaborated with various independent organizations and institutions, offering standardized training programs.
Industry observers note that such a scalable and consistent AI-based training model remains relatively uncommon in Bangladesh, giving the initiative a unique position.
According to Subscriptionsmart BD, all workshops and training sessions conducted under RobinRafan’s guidance are extensions of the core masterclass.
The platform emphasizes that a unified framework and methodology are applied across all programs, ensuring consistency and repeatability in learning outcomes.
Platform analytics highlight strong engagement, with over 900,000 student views and more than 2.6 million interactions recorded between March 29 and April 4, 2026 alone.
Experts suggest that the impact of this initiative extends beyond digital content creation. AI-driven cinematic techniques; such as cost-effective visual effects, realistic scene generation, and faster production workflows, have potential applications in the global film industry.
With students now joining from 34 countries, the program is also contributing to foreign revenue generation, positioning itself as a form of “knowledge export” from Bangladesh.
Observers believe this model represents a structured, scalable, and internationally relevant approach to creative education, helping elevate Bangladesh’s presence in the global AI and content development landscape.
