9 children of Nagad Uddoktas win Quran recitation competition

Nine children of Nagad Uddoktas emerged as winners at the grand finale of Nagad Islamic’s nationwide Quran recitation competition, "Sontaner Konthe Quran Tilawat."
The winners were selected through an evaluation process from nearly 3,000 contestants across 10 regions nationwide.
Organized by Nagad Ltd under its Nagad Islamic initiative to promote religious and moral values among youth, the competition began on February 5 and concluded with a grand finale at Hotel Sheraton in Dhaka on July 28.
Nagad Administrator Md Motasem Billah, Associate Administrator Anwar Ullah, Chief Commercial Officer Mohummed Shahin Sarwar Bhuiyan, Chief Business Support and Service Assurance Officer Lt (retd) Col Md Kousar Soukat Ali, and Head of Marketing H U M Mehedi Sajjad attended the event alongside other officials.
The panel of judges included Hafez Maulana Masum Billah, Maulana Gazi Sanaullah Rahmani, Alhaj Maulana Hafez Kazi Maruf Billah, and Professor Dr H.M. Shahidul Islam Barakati.
In the finale, 30 contestants performed live recitations before the judges. The top three contestants from each of the three age categories were selected as winners.
The first, second, and third prize winners received cash awards of BDT 50,001, BDT 30,001, and BDT 20,001 respectively, along with crests and certificates.
Additionally, all 30 finalists received an honorarium of BDT 10,000 each and certificates, while 60 regional winners were awarded special certificates.
In Group A, Nusaiba (Dhaka North) took first place, followed by Humaira Jannat Gulfam (Mymensingh) and Md Salman R. Rahman (Sylhet).
In Group B, Mohammad Khalid Talukder (Barishal) secured first place, while Mariyam Akhtar (Sylhet) and Md Abu Raiyan Prodhan (Rangpur) placed second and third.
In Group C, Abidur Rahman Yasin (Mymensingh) won first place, followed by Riyamul Islam (Cumilla) and Mohammad Jamilus Siam (Khulna).
Nagad Administrator Md Motasem Billah thanked the organizers and announced that Nagad will recruit six Madrasa graduates as territory managers to integrate them into the mainstream.
