Seminar on sustainable tech held at Jaldhaka

JALDHAKA, NILPHAMARI, Apr 9: A seminar and exhibition titled "Application and Expansion of Locally Invented Sustainable Technology" was held in Jaldhaka Upazila of the district.

In this connection, the upazila administration organized a discussion meeting at the Upazila Parishad hallroom on Thursday with the support of the Ministry of Science and Technology under the Chairmanship of Upazila Nirbahi Officer Zayed Imrul Mozakkin. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Mehedi Morshed was present as the chief guest.

Scientific Officer (INARS) Al Amin presented the keynote speech at the event, while Scientific Officer (IGCRT) Gaurang Roy presented the technology.

Government representative and Ministry of Science and Technology Accounts Officer Sirajul Islam, Social Service Officer Kamruzzaman, and others spoke.

Seven educational institutions of the upazila participated in the seminar and exhibition.
