Training on ‘high-impact academic writing’ held at Nazrul University

A day-long training programme titled 'Writing & Publishing High-Impact Academic Reports & Journals: Standards, Challenges & Best Practices' was held with the participation of teachers and students from the Law and Justice Department of Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University (JKKNIU). 

The training programme started on Monday morning in the conference room of the old administrative building.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Mohammad Mosharraf Hossain, who was away from the campus due to urgent university work, announced the auspicious inauguration of the training programme by joining online as the chief guest.

Speaking as the chief guest, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Mohammad Mosharraf Hossain said, 'This training programme should be for the purpose of learning for the trainees and should be implemented in real life. We need to organise more and more such training programmes. We need to use the knowledge acquired through the insightful discussions of the training in real life.'
 
Muhammad Irfan Aziz, Dean of the Faculty of Law of the university, spoke as a special guest. The Acting Registrar of the university, Professor Dr Md Mizanur Rahman, delivered the welcome speech online. Dr Md Rizwanul Islam, Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences of North South University and Professor of the Department of Law, was present as a resource person.

The day-long training programme, organised by the university's Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), was presided over by IQAC Director Professor Md Tanjil Hossain. The inaugural session of the training programme was moderated by IQAC Additional Director Professor Dr Tushar Kanti Saha.
