Silent curse of gambling

Dear Sir,

Gambling is becoming a silent destroyer in modern society, both online and offline. This alarming trend is spreading rapidly among people of all ages. Nowadays, online gambling has become extremely popular due to easy internet access and the influence of social media. From school and college students to adults, many are becoming involved in this dangerous activity, which gradually destroys their lives, families, and futures.

The most frightening aspect of gambling is its addictive nature. Many people begin gambling only for entertainment, but slowly become addicted. Attractive advertisements and promises of easy money encourage people to participate. As a result, they become obsessed with earning quick profits and eventually lose everything they have. In many cases, gamblers continue playing in the hope of recovering their losses, but instead they lose their savings, peace of mind, and personal relationships.

This addiction also affects society in many harmful ways. Students lose concentration on their studies, families break apart, and some people even become involved in criminal activities. Therefore, public awareness is essential to stop the spread of gambling. Parents, society, and the government must work together and take strong steps, especially against online gambling, to protect future generations from this silent destruction.
