NOAKHALI, May 15: Professor Dr Golam Rabbani has been appointed as the new Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU).
A notification in this connection was issued by the Science and Technology University Branch of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) of the Ministry of Education on Thursday.
After the issuance of the notification, he has completed his joining the Ministry of Education.
The notification said that with the approval of the President and Chancellor, Professor Dr Golam Rabbani has been appointed as the NSTU VC.
Professor Dr Golam Rabbani was serving as a teacher at the Institute of Social Welfare and Research (ISWR) of Dhaka University. He has been associated with higher education, research and academic activities for a long time.
According to the notification, his appointment as VC will be for four years from the date of joining.
