No extortion in DNCC, DSCC cattle markets: DNCC Admin

The administrator of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) said that they did not receive any complaint of extortion in the cattle markets in Dhaka North and South City Corporation areas.

 Administrator Shafiqul Islam Milton said this in response to a question from reporters after visiting Gabtali Cattle Market in the capital on Tuesday afternoon.

At this time, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Mosleh Uddin said, “If there are any specific allegations of extortion, inform us, and we will take actions immediately.”

 The DMP Commissioner said that they also visited all the makeshift and permanent cattle markets under Dhaka North City Corporation.

‘We still don't have any complaint about extortion. If there are any specific allegations, various agencies along with law enforcers will take action,” said Mosleh Uddin.
