The Bangladesh cricket team reached Mackay on Tuesday for the second and final Test against Australia after a grueling 14-hour journey that normally takes six hours.
The Tigers boarded a flight from Darwin at 5:00 AM local time and landed shortly before 7:00 PM. Players looked visibly exhausted as they left the airport.
All squad members traveled together on the same flight following their historic win in the series opener in Darwin.
The second Test begins on August 22 at the Great Barrier Reef Arena in Mackay. All tickets for the opening day of the venue's inaugural Test match have already sold out.
