Prime Minister Tarique Rahman thanked the Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs and the Home Minister for their roles in bringing those responsible for the murder of child Ramisa under the law through swift identification and arrest.
The information was disclosed in a press release issued by the Parliament Secretariat on Sunday.
According to the statement, during a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee held at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban at 2:00 PM on Sunday, the Prime Minister praised the effective role played by the relevant ministries and law enforcement agencies in quickly identifying, arresting, and bringing to justice those involved in the Ramisa murder case.
At the meeting, the Prime Minister specifically expressed his gratitude to the Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs and the Home Minister.
He stated that the prompt investigation, identification, and arrest of the perpetrators of such a brutal and heartbreaking crime reflected the government's firm commitment to maintaining law and order.
